Every student at Eastman School of Music will, at some time or other, perform in one of our major venues. Take a moment to think about how nerves and anticipation can affect the quality of that performance. As ushers, it is our role to ensure that each and every artist can concentrate entirely on the quality of their upcoming performance. We are the invisible help - the insurance that every aspect of the stage and the house is ready. We are the people who make each event appear seamless in its execution. It is up to us to insure that every patron is cared for, every need met and every issue resolved. The experience of our audience starts the moment they walk onto School ground. Our words and deeds should reflect the highest standard of the ethos of Eastman.
