Music Administration and Governance – ONLINE

This course enables students to develop an understanding of the structure, governance, operations, and historical development of musical organizations in the non-profit sector (orchestras, opera companies, schools of music, and emerging models of contemporary innovative ensembles). By exploring effective leadership practices of the musical organizations, students will work to develop effective administration, governance, leadership, and communication skills.
Tuition:
$7,880 / 4 credits
NOTE: This is a graduate-level course. Undergraduate students (and students not currently enrolled in the MA in Music Leadership program) are welcome to register, but should contact Rachel Roberts at rroberts@esm.rochester.edu before registering.
