NEW! High School Jazz Workshop

This is a new take on our Eastman Experience: Summer Jazz Studies program, but redesigned as a week-long day camp for local high school students. This rigorous program provides an intensive, performance-based experience for highly motivated students currently in grades 9–12 and is ideally suited for those considering jazz studies at the collegiate level. Students work directly with the renowned Eastman School of Music jazz faculty in a program designed to enhance improvisational and ensemble skills.
Please note that students should bring a lunch each day. Refrigeration is not provided. Parents can pick up their child each day at 4pm at the Kilbourn Hall entrance on Gibbs St.

- 9:00-10:00 Instrumental Masterclasses
- 10:15- 12:00 Jazz Performance Workshops
- 12:00- 1:00 Lunch
- 1:00 – 2:00 Theory class
- 2:15 – 3:30 Large Ensemble
- 3:30 – 4:00 Listening/Forum

–Please note that payment is not due at the time of registration. The student will be billed.
–Also note that housing and meals are not included/available. Students should pack a lunch every day (refrigeration not provided).
