Andrea Schuler
Special Collections Assistant

Andrea is an Eastman alumna (undergraduate and graduate degrees in viola performance) and a former Sibley Music Library student worker. She played viola professionally for more than twenty years in Seattle and around the Pacific Northwest before returning to Rochester and Eastman in 2015. From 2015-2024 Andrea served as Program Coordinator for Summer@Eastman (now known as Eastman Summer), working with Dr. Sylvie Beaudette to plan and run Eastman’s Summer Session.
Andrea sings alto in Eastman-Rochester Chorus, loves social dancing (especially salsa and Lindy hop), and will happily join a Shim Sham performance (swing or tap) anytime, anywhere.
