Message from Dr. Kodzas on Mask Policy

Dear Students and Families,

Due to recent downward trends in new COVID cases and following the updated masking guidelines issued by CDC and the New York State Governor, the University of Rochester President Sarah Mangelsdorf has issued the following message:

Beginning Friday, March 4, masking will be strongly encouraged, but no longer required, on most University of Rochester campuses including Eastman School of Music and the Eastman Community Music School. Masks are still required at the University of Rochester Medical Center, on the University shuttle service, and for those who have received exemptions from vaccination.
