Babak Kashfi Yeganeh
STUDENT PROFILE
Babak Kashfi Yeganeh is a first year Ph.D. student in Musicology at the Eastman School of Music. He holds a bachelor’s degree in composition from Tehran University of Art, and M.A in musicology from University of Victoria in Canada. His master’s thesis is titled “Dave Brubeck and White Middlebrow: A case study of Time Out.” His research interests include reciprocal influences between art and popular music, and intersections of music, philosophy, and cultural studies. When not studying, Babak enjoys cooking and baking, and is a mediocre tennis player.
