Mei Xing (she/her) is a first-year graduate student in Ethnomusicology at the Eastman School of Music. She has two cats. She holds a B.A. in Musicology from the Central Conservatory of Music. Her research interests include rave culture, Chinese traditional music, idol culture, and embodiment in music performance.
