Yuhe Su
Yuhe Su is from Beijing, China. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, under the tutelage of David Higgs. In June of 2023, she graduated from Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where she studied with Yuan Shen and completed her Bachelor and Master degrees in organ performance. During the master’s period, she won the highest-level scholarship for three consecutive years with her excellent academic performance. Prior to her undergraduate studies, Yuhe started organ playing at the age of 15, and played piano since the age of 4.
She has been to many cities all over the world such as Harlem, Groningen (NL), Paris, Versailles (FR), Berlin (DE), Seoul (KOR) to participate in international competitions and music festivals. She has won the third award in the “Harlem-Central Conservatory of Music Organ Scholarship Competition” in 2017; the first prize of the “Valencia International Keyboard Music Competition” in 2021. In the same year, She got into the final round of the “Mikael Tariverdiev International organ competition”. In the 2022 “London Young Musicians Competition”, she won double gold medals in chamber music group and soloist group, and won the special award “Versatile Musician Award”; She won the Platinum Award in the “Canada Quebec International Music Competition”.
Yuhe has performed in masterclasses held by world-renowned artists such as Alan Morrison, Daniel Zaretsky, Dong ill shin, Isabelle Demers, Jean-Baptiste Robin, Leo van Doeselaar, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Vincent Thevenaz, etc.
