STUDENT PROFILE
Korean American pianist Eun Kyung Lee is a sought-after collaborative pianist. Noted for her versatility, she appears as a pianist, organist, and harpsichordist. She has worked with organizations as a coach, repetiteur, and music director including Opera Memphis, Nashville Opera, Vancouver Summer Opera Studio, Harlem Opera, New York Choral Society.
Eun Kyung has performed premiers of works by composers Jennifer Higdon and Lori Laitman. She also worked with composers John Musto and Jake Heggie. She worked alongside luminaries such as Yong Hoon Lee, Charles Castronovo, Nadine Sierra, and Meryl Streep.
Eun Kyung’s major American performances have been heard in New York City’s Weill and Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts’ Alice Tully Hall, while international venues include Seoul Arts Center’s recital hall in Seoul, South Korea and St. Stephensdom in Vienna, Austria.
Eun Kyung holds degrees from Yonsei University for Church Music, BM and Organ, MM. Also, she holds Collaborative Piano: Vocal, MM at Mannes School of Music where she is the recipient of the Newtown Swift Award.
