Elizabeth Jorgenson
STUDENT PROFILE
Elizabeth Jorgenson (they/she) is a first year M.A. student in Musicology from Cleveland, Ohio. They graduated from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in 2023 with a B.M. in Music History and Literature. During the 2022-2023 school year at Baldwin Wallace, Elizabeth took part in the Riemenschneider Bach Institute (RBI) Scholars program, during which they conducted a research project on a viola d’amore housed in the RBI’s rare instrument collection. As part of their degree program, Elizabeth completed an undergraduate thesis project focused on the narrative function of diegetic music in folk horror films. Outside of the classroom, Elizabeth enjoys knitting and playing Dungeons & Dragons. She is excited to join the Eastman Musicology community!.
