Originally from Rochester, New York, Timothy Coene holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Ithaca College, located in Ithaca, New York, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Music degree at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.

Timothy’s performance opportunities have included performing Joel Love’s “Solace: a Lyric Concerto” as a soloist with the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble, along with multiple performances in the saxophone section of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rochester Philharmonic Pops Orchestra.

Currently, Timothy holds teaching positions at both the University of Rochester and the Eastman Community Music School, and is also actively engaged as both a mentor and director within the ECMS New Horizons program.
