Eastman Community Music School will hold its annual “Homecoming,” a tradition that began in 1998, on Saturday, Dec. 19, beginning at 9 a.m.
“‘Homecoming’ has grown into a popular event that showcases the incredible talent and musicianship in the Eastman Community Music School,” said Howard Potter, associate dean of community education at the Eastman School of Music. “The concerts are a wonderful opportunity for former students to reconnect with faculty and with each other while the public can enjoy a wide range of wonderful programming.”
A day packed with musical events, Homecoming features concurrent performances by Eastman Community Music School students and ensembles of all ages, including those made up of middle school and high school students as well as young adults and seniors, taking place in several venues on the Eastman campus. Current and former students, parents, and the public are invited to enjoy a day of performances.
