See and hear Eastman School of Music professor and favorite Rochester performer Barry Snyder in the world premiere of A Shifting Trek, a piano concerto by Eastman professor emeritus Sydney Hodkinson. This major new work was commissioned by the Eastman School’s Hanson Institute for American Music. And, hear a 20th-century classic by Frank Zappa’s favorite composer: Amériques, a spectacular work for huge orchestra by Edgard Varèse. Brad Lubman conducts the Eastman Philharmonia for this free concert.
