ROCHESTER, NY It’s a new season of outstanding music at the Eastman School of Music, and the School proudly presents a second year of a new concert series designed to highlight its distinguished faculty.
The Faculty Artist Series, which began earlier this month with a performance by the Eastman Brass, includes 14 concerts throughout the coming year that take place in Kilbourn Hall, 26 Gibbs St. (except for the concert on Feb. 26). All of the concerts are open to the public. General admission tickets are $5 and are available one hour before the start of each performance at the box office door only. "No matter where their performance careers take them, Eastman faculty love to return home to play in Kilbourn Hall," said Andrew Green, Eastman’s director of concert operations. "The Rochester community certainly has embraced them."
