If you are currently taking lessons, you are not required to re-audition. Instead you will receive an email from Cody Norling with registration instructions.
If you were absent from campus for the previous semester or academic year to study abroad, or if you took a leave of absence, etc., you must contact he Academic Affairs Office at Eastman to re-activate your request for instruction [academicaffairs@esm.rochester.edu]. You will not be required to re-audition if your record indicates your previous semesters of study have been successful.
Auditions are in-person, but, if conditions warrant, may be either via recorded video/audio or live-virtual Zoom. Up-to-date information and specific audition requirements (as pdf) may be found at Arthur Satz Department of Music web page.
This audition is for lessons beginning Spring 2025. If you wish to begin the following semester (Fall 2025), please return when pre-registration for Fall 2025 opens.
