Chautauqua Summer Conducting Institute
The David Effron Conducting Fellowship is awarded to a gifted student pursuing a career in conducting. The applicant must be enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last year) from a graduate conducting program. Mr. Muffitt will guide the studies of the conducting fellow. The deadline is March 1 for submission of a DVD, completed application, three letters of recommendation and cover letter and resume. The conducting fellowship pays for room and board and provides a $2,000 stipend, payable after arrival.
