THE LAKE PLACID INSTITUTE’S mission is to create opportunities in the Adirondacks for learning, sharing, and enjoying.
We do so by shaping an environment that fosters creativity; by bringing the talents of outstanding artists, leaders and thinkers to the community; by creating and sustaining high-quality, innovative programs; by developing partnerships with other local and regional organizations; and by celebrating the cultural heritage of the Adirondacks.
