DMA Lecture Recital

Erin Futterer will be presenting a Lecture Recital in completion of her doctoral studies, which will focus on works for solo horn that were dedicated to or commissioned by Frøydis Ree Wekre, internationally renowned horn player, teacher, and clinician.  Through the personal stories and anecdotes of Frøydis and the composers , supported by historical records and Erin’s own investigation and analysis of the works, she hope to bring to life this largely unknown, but wonderful repertoire, as well as the woman who made it possible. The recital will take place on Monday, March 31st at 1:00pm in Hatch Recital Hall at the Eastman School of Music. Hope to see you there!
