Procedure for Faculty or Staff Reserving a Classroom (excluding Room 120) or Meeting Room If you wish to reserve a meeting room or classroom (except ESM 120), you may make your request online. Once course class schedules are secured, typically two weeks before the start of the semester, room reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Please notify the Registrar’s Office immediately of any changes and cancellations for existing reservations. The following classrooms and meeting rooms may be reserved through the Registrar’s Office:
- Annex 704, 707, 708, 709, 710, 902
- Old Sibley Library 101, 204
- Main Building 209, 305, 320, 404, 514
- Eastman Theatre 404, 410, 411, 412, 603 (No daytime rehearsals)
- Ranlet Lounge, Ouzer Room (M-9), Miller Center 220 & 320 (for meetings only)
- New Sibley Library 308, 404 (No rehearsals)
- Student Living Center Director’s Meeting Room (No rehearsals)
Requests for ESM 120, the Eastman Theatre, Kilbourn Hall, Howard Hanson Hall, Ciminelli Lounge or Cominsky Promenade should be made in person at the Concert Office. Procedure for Reserving Kilbourn Hall, Room 120, Howard Hanson Hall, Ciminelli Lounge, Cominsky Promenade or Eastman Theatre The Eastman School Concert Office schedules and supports over 700 performances each year in the Eastman Theatre, Kilbourn Hall and other spaces. The office is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm, with scheduling hours from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. Student recitals in Kilbourn Hall, Howard Hanson Hall, Ciminelli Lounge and Room 120 are scheduled by appointment with the Concert Office. Appointment times are allocated through a lottery system that occurs two times during the year: October and April. Student recitals must be performed when school is in session. The “Student Recital Handbook” serves as a guideline of general policies and procedures, as well as useful information including scheduling recitals, arranging for rehearsal time, recording, program production and the use of special instruments.
