Purpose
Content creation, post production, academic study and professional development for students, faculty, staff and *alumni.

100 Gibbs Street, 103 J – 1st floor of Student Living Center, directly across from the Office of Student Affairs.

Current Lab Policies
- All members of the ESM community are welcome to work on both academic and professional creative projects.
- Other University affiliated students, staff and faculty can request special access as necessary (help.esm.rochester.edu).
- While some workstation are specialized, you can use any that best suites your current endeavor.
- You do not need reservation, however, you are welcome to make one for guaranteed use.

- Eating is prohibited, however, covered drinks are allowed.
- Noise levels should be kept to low and reasonable conversation levels, respectful of the patrons around you.
- Playing sound without headphones is prohibited, for group listening. However, you may request additional headphones for two people listening sessions.
- Ask for help! There is no need to go it alone. We have trained staff to guide and complete your creative journey with you.
- Please report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately. Typically we can remedy it, or start the process of remediation immediately.

- External and network storage for video and audio projects.
- Seven M-Audio MIDI Keyboards (ask media lab staff about availability)
- Four Komplete Kontrol S88 Keyboards exclusively for Film Scoring Stations
- One Roland A88 Keyboard
- Personal Laptop Stations (Coming Spring 2023)

Printing/Copying
2 Xerox Printer/Copiers which utilizes the following paper sizes:
- letter (8.5×11)
- tabloid (11×17)
Printing is handled via University Copy Services with the following prices:
- ¢10/page (single-sided)
- ¢18/page (duplex)
- ¢25/page color (duplex or single-sided)
For payment, use funds on a URos account via your University ID card, or purchase a Copy Card from Sibley Library.
