Safe Space Training
Safe Space Training is offered for faculty and staff through the Office of Organizational Development and Staff Diversity. Classes address ways to reduce homophobia and heterosexism to make our institution a safer and freer environment for all members of our community. For more information, please contact Katherine Ciesinski at KCiesinski@esm.rochester.edu.
Identities@Eastman
These are regular forums that address varying issues of Identity formation and diversity within the student body and the faculty. They usually commence with an overview or presentation by a relevant speaker (or panel) on the chosen topic, followed by a guided discussion, meant to facilitate an open, inclusive, and congenial conversation as to how the particular topic is relevant to Eastman in particular, and the music world at large.
