BIOGRAPHY
Vince Ford boasts two decades of experience successfully increasing the reach and impact of high-profile arts institutions. Expert in integrating audience engagement, content development, innovative platforms, revenue, and fostering high-performing teams, Vince is a seasoned leader.
Currently serving as the SVP of Strategy and Innovation at Curtis Institute of Music, Vince oversees external engagement, strategic projects, innovation, branding, marketing, media, and technology. Since joining in 2021, he has led a significant expansion of Curtis’s digital capabilities and footprint, reaching over 1 million people annually through numerous live streams, acclaimed commercial recordings, and robust social media engagement.
Vince’s accomplishments include leading a 400% growth in ticket sales, leading a successful multi-year rebrand project, collaborating with trustees on fundraising initiatives, and heading the Marketing and Technology board committee. Additionally, as the Chair in Digital Studies, Vince works to bring digital skills to conservatory artists, while also serving as the Executive Director of the Innovation Lab, developing and guiding strategic media and technology projects. Prior to Curtis, Vince spearheaded digital strategy, audience engagement, and numerous innovative initiatives as Vice President Digital Strategy for the New York Philharmonic.
Vince studied horn and performed as an active freelancer in Atlanta for many years. He has an MBA from Emory University and a doctorate from Temple University where his research focused on digital engagement in the performing arts.
With a rich background in various digital, marketing, and technology roles, Vince is a sought-after consultant and speaker, contributing extensively to the discourse on digital transformation in the arts.
