Abigail Wilson
Abigail Wilson, class of 2025 at the Eastman School of Music, is a piano primary and violin secondary majoring in Music Education with an Instrumental Emphasis. Motivated by her involvement in programs like ROCmusic (as a teacher) and ECMS (as a volunteer and now, a teacher), she hopes to eventually acquire a position teaching music theory at the collegiate level. Abby is exceedingly grateful for the teaching experiences she has had in Rochester, all of which she feels are equipping her to best serve her future students.
At Eastman, Abby participates in several organizations, including the University of Rochester Symphony Orchestra, the Eastman Ushering Crew, and the National Association for Music Educators. Outside of these involvements, Abby also regularly acts as an accompanist for local performances in both Rochester and Connecticut, where she is from.
