104 audition information

This audition is to evaluate students who have studied piano for 3+ years.

Students who show competency in performing ALL of the following material in their submitted recording will be placed into PCL 104.
  1, Technique (see Scales and Arpeggios for correct fingering)

• Play a scale and triad arpeggio, hands together, 4 octaves, in one of these major keys: C, G, D, E, A, B
        Play a scale and triad arpeggio, hands together, 4 octaves, in one of these harmonic minor keys: c, g, d, e, a, b
• Play a scale and triad arpeggio, hands together, 4 octaves, in one of these major keys: C#/Db, Eb, F#/Gb, Ab, Bb

 2. Harmonize:   Select one melody from these examples  Harmonize, using the following example, in Keyboard style (3 notes in RH, single note in LH, with pedal).

     3. Repertoire:  perform any TWO SOLOS chosen from this folder, memorization is NOT required.
