A touch of fall in our July weather helps to bring thoughts of chamber music to Eastman. Our popular Morning Chamber Music series will help start our fall 2014 semester with a line up of beautiful but rarely-heard masterworks by Beethoven, Dvorak, and others, The series begins on September 20 with the Eastman Brass playing Centone V (arrangements of music by the Baroque composer Samuel Scheidt, by longtime Eastman horn professor Verne Reynolds), and Schumann’s popular Piano Quintet with performers including pianist Barry Snyder, violinists Federico Agostini and Eri Noda, and cellist Rosemary Elliott. Concerts continue this fall on October 25 and November 15. All take place at 11 a.m. in Hatch Recital Hall.
