Special Celebration
50th Reunion Breakfast and Medallion Ceremony
Saturday, October 13
8:00 – 9:00 am ~ Breakfast
9:00 – 10:00 am ~ Medallion Ceremony
Join us for a breakfast from 8:00 – 9:00 am celebrating the 50th reunion class. At 9:00 am, University of Rochester President Joel Seligman and Eastman School of Music Dean Douglas Lowry will preside over this special event and will confer a medallion upon each member of the classes of 1961 and 1962 in commemoration of this milestone achievement.
This event celebrates the lives, careers, and lifelong relationship Eastman alumni have with their alma mater. The 50th reunion classes of 1961 and 1962 are invited to participate in the Medallion Ceremony. Special invitations for this event will be mailed later this summer.
50th Reunion Gift
In honor of our 50th Reunion, we invite you to join us in making a special gift to the Eastman Fund to support the Reunion Scholars Program. For every $25,000 collectively received from our 50th Reunion classes, the Eastman School will name a Class of 1961/1962 Scholar, who will be awarded scholarship aid for four years of study. This Reunion gift is an exceptional way for our classes to make its mark on Eastman and its students.
For more information, please call the Eastman School Advancement Office at 585.274.1040 or email development@esm.rochester.edu.
Send Us Your News
We are eager to share a glimpse of what you have been doing since you left Eastman and have created a web list of alumni from the classes of 1961 and 1962. Each entry includes an alumnus’ yearbook photo, a current photo (if available) and a brief biography. New entries will be added to the listing each week leading up to Eastman Weekend 2012. We need your help to make the list as comprehensive as possible. Please send us a brief biography (approximately 50 words) and a current photograph, and we will add your entry to the web listing as quickly as possible.
