Alumni Eastman Wind Ensemble Playing Session

Description:

The Eastman Wind Ensemble officially celebrated its 60th year in 2013. Come join other EWE alumni performing hallmark works by composers such as Holst, Sousa, Vaughan Williams, and Grainger—repertoire that our founder, Frederick Fennell, championed throughout his great career.

We’ll also recognize the 50th anniversary of Conductor Emeritus Donald Hunsberger’s first concerts with the EWE. The alumni ensemble will be led by Hunsberger and current EWE director Mark Scatterday. Don’t worry if your chops aren’t in great shape; this will be fun and full of great fellowship and memories!
