Eastman Milestone Reunion Activities
We look forward to seeing you for Eastman Weekend October 16 – 19 as we celebrate our milestone reunions.
We hope you’ll enjoy the following activities and that have been planned for you to reconnect with long-lost friends and classmates. Come mingle, dine and recall favorite memories of your time here at Eastman.
All Eastman Luncheon Celebrating Milestone Reunion Classes
Saturday, October 18
11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Miller Center Atrium
Eastman alumni, faculty, friends and parents are invited to an informal luncheon celebrating Eastman’s milestone reunion classes. Members of the reunion classes (years ending in 2, 3, 7 or 8 ) will have an opportunity to get together and renew old friendships over a casual lunch in the Atrium.
$15 per person, children 8 and under are free
Eastman School of Music Gala Dinner
Saturday, October 18
5:00 pm to 7:30 p.m.
Clarion Riverside Hotel
120 East Main Street
Enjoy a festive banquet with Eastman classmates, friends and family featuring an awards presentation and special recognition of milestone reunion alumni.
Shuttle transportation provided from the Eastman School.
$50 per person
50th Reunion Medallion Ceremony

9:00 -10:00 a.m.

Miller Center

Celebrate and Enjoy the pomp and circumstance as University of Rochester President Joel Seligman and Eastman School of Music Dean Douglas Lowry preside over Eastman’s 50th Reunion Medallion Ceremony. President Seligman will confer a medallion upon each member of the classes of 1957 and 1958 in commemoration of this milestone occasion. Those who earned their first degree from Eastman prior to 1957 are also invited to participate in the Medallion Ceremony. Families are welcome and encouraged to join in the celebration. No charge.
Celebratory Brunch with Current and Retired Faculty
Sunday, October 19
10:30 – Noon
Cominsky Promenade
Join current and retired Eastman faculty, alumni and 50th Reunion medallion recipients for brunch.
$15 per person, children under 8 are free.
This event is complimentary for all Eastman medallion recipients.

Reunion Year Guide
Milestone reunions are celebrated every five years. Look below to see which classes will celebrate during Eastman Weekend 2008.
In 2010, alumni will celebrate their reunion if they graduated in a year ending in 4, 5, 9, or 0.
