STUDENT PROFILE
ZeLin Huang was born in China and began playing the piano at an early age, studying with Dr. Huijun Zeng, Belarusian pianist Katia Rorova, Professor Yewei Huang, and Professor Jialin Zhang. In 2018, he studied in the Piano Department of the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, graduating with the outstanding performance category in most courses. In 2022, he matriculated at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing with the highest score.
ZeLin has given numerous recitals in his native China, including venues in Beijing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, and Dalian. In June 2023, he participated in the “Opera Creative Talent Training Program” sponsored by the National Art Fund and hosted by the Central Conservatory of Music. In February 2024, he served as pianist for the Peking University Academy of Opera and in June 2024, performed Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore with conductor and singers. ZeLin is currently an exchange student at the Eastman School of Music, studying under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Harley.
