Kathleen Bride, Professor of Harp
Kathleen Bride has appeared as a recitalist and concerto soloist in the United States as well as the United Kingdom, Korea and the Netherlands. She has also given master classes throughout the United States, Ireland, Canada, and Europe.

These qualities of harp technique are taught at Eastman in the Harp Technique class for first-year students. The Harp Pedagogy class, taken in the junior or senior year, continues the tradition of this technique as harpists in the class teach their own students, solidify their new teaching skills, and investigate a variety of harp-related topics.
Kathleen Bride is a gifted teacher and coach of developing harpists. Her studio has produced Principal harpists in Iceland, Colorado Symphony, Utah Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Tulsa Symphony, Louisville Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Minnesota Opera, and the United States Coast Guard Band.
Ms. Bride has collaborated with and coached professional harpists on their recording projects with particular emphasis on French and Italian repertoire.
