STUDENT PROFILE
Long Island native Rebecca Golub recently joined the faculty at RIT as an adjunct professor in the College of Liberal Arts. Her responsibilities include teaching private piano students and serving as rehearsal and performance pianists for the RIT Singers choral ensemble. She is currently pursuing her DMA in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music with a minor in Vocal Coaching at Eastman, where she studies with Dr. Andrew Harley. Rebecca received the Barbara M.H. Koeng Award in 2022 which honors collaborative pianists with a passion and gift for vocal accompanying, as well as the Excellence in Accompanying Award in 2020. A devoted academic as well as performer, Rebecca was inducted into the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society at Eastman in the spring of 2017.
Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and a Bachelor of Music from Eastman. Over the years, Rebecca has participated in numerous summer festivals and had the privilege to work with esteemed artists including Jean Barr, Renée Fleming, Margo Garrett, Jake Heggie, Graham Johnson, Warren Jones, Libby Larsen, Malcolm Martineau, and Alan Smith.
