Abigail Konopik, raised in St. Louis, Missouri, has played horn since fifth grade. Under the guidance and inspiration of her local teachers Rebecca Braun and Tod Bowermaster, she decided to pursue a career in french horn performance. This led her to the Eastman School of Music, where she now studies under Professor Peter Kurau. Surrounded by dedicated and talented peers, she continues to grow as both a musician and person, hoping to one day perform within an orchestral community.
