Kirin Narayan, award-winning author and Professor of Anthropology at the Univeristy of Wisconsin, MadisonHoward Hanson Hall | 1:30 pm, to be followed by a reception
Professor Narayan, whose work spans nearly three decades, is well known for her work on gender and expressive culture in India. Her presentation is co-sponsored by the Ethnomusicology program and the Humanities department at the Eastman School of Music, as well as by the College's Anthropology department and the Susan B. Anthony Institute for Gender and Women's Studies.
