06.02.01 List of Majors offered within the MM Degree
The following majors are offered within the master of music degree program:
- composition
- conducting (choral or orchestral emphasis)
- early music (emphasis in historical plucked instruments)
- jazz studies and contemporary media (performance or writing emphasis)
- music education
- opera (performance or stage directing)
- performance and literature (instrumental, vocal, or woodwind doubling)
- piano accompanying and chamber music
