The Eastman New Venture Challenge is a contest to encourage new thinking and innovative ideas in music. It gives students the opportunity to fulfill a business plan that could result in the launch of a new entrepreneurial enterprise.
Entrants were required to create and present a thorough business plan that demonstrates creativity and potential for success. The plans were evaluated in a preliminary round by a panel of judges. Three student entries were invited to participate in the final round where each enterprise was evaluated on both the written plan and an oral presentation. The successful entrants have demonstrated creativity, innovation, uniqueness, and added value to the music field.
- Have an idea that will revolutionize the music world?
- Want some extra spending money?
- How about a fair amount of spending money? Maybe to the tune of $2000…
- Consider applying to the New Venture Challenge next year!
The following documents outline the contest and provide all necessary information. However, potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the information sessions as further contest details and information about business planning will be discussed.
