Summer 2008
We hope you are having a great summer! While you are away, remember that we are still here in Rochester, so if you need help or advice, give us a call!
Some things to think about during the summer...
- Update your resume: Don't forget to add that summer festival you attended, or that performance you just did. Be sure to keep track of everything you're doing so you don't forget!
- Networking: Summer is a great time for networking. You will be meeting a lot of new people in different places. Keep track of them by writing down names, contact information and where you met them. Or better yet, add them as a friend on Facebook!
- Job Searching: Summer is slow around here too and with vacations, sometimes things get behind. Keep following up and don't get discouraged if you are not getting responses from potential employers.
- Internships: Make the most of your internship. Work hard and learn a lot! The connections you make now could help you in the future.
- Have fun!: Be sure to take some time to relax and have fun. School will start again before you know it, so enjoy your time off while it lasts!
