It is not necessary to close the window or exit the browser, your mailbox cannot be accessed without logging in again.

Hiding Mail Sub-folders

By default, OWA displays all the sub-folders within the current folder. If you have many folders within your Inbox, this can leave little room for displaying the list of messages. Fortunately, you can hide this list of sub-folders.

To the left of where your name and Inbox is display is a small box with a minus symbol inside it. Click that box and the sub-folders are hidden. To display them, click the small box again (which now has a plus symbol inside).

The site will remember that you hid the sub-folder list so you don't have to repeat this every time you use OWA.

Saving New Appointments

When you're adding an appointment to only your own calendar, not inviting others, how you save the appointment is not immediately obvious. Don't click the Send button, that's only for appointment invites, instead click the button to the right of Send. The button is supposed to look like a floppy and if you hold the cursor over it, it should show the word "Save."
