September 18, 2008 - UR Wireless Migration Complete
Eastman Computing and University IT have completed the wireless migration to UR Wireless. To connect to the wireless network at ESM, please join UR_RC_InternalSecure or UR_RC_Internal. The password for UR_RC_InternalSecure is URWireless.
The UR Wireless system is available in the following locations:
- Eastman Theatre (2nd floor offices)
- Main Building (basement, main hall, ESM 120, mezzanine, Cominsky Promenade, ESM 209, ESM 305, ESM 320, ESM 404)
- Messinger Hall (1st & 2nd floors)
- Miller Center 1st floor (Student Services, classrooms, & IML)
- Miller Center 2nd floor (Office of the Dean, MC 220, Development Office)
- Old Sibley Library (1st floor & Ensembles Library)
- Sibley Music Library (2nd, 3rd, & 4th Floors)
- Student Living Center (Computer Lab)
If you experience a certificate error stating that the authority can not be trusted, please accept as the certificate is valid. University IT is working on resolving the issue.

July 16, 2008 - Student Gmail at UR and Eastman
The University of Rochester is migrating student email services to Google's Gmail service. This includes all Eastman undergraduate and graudate students. Please see the announcement for additional information.
