Each year, the Kilbourn Concert Series brings great guest artists to Rochester from all over the world, for exalted musical evenings in Kilbourn Hall, one of the jewels among the Eastman School of Music’s performing spaces.

Our Kilbourn Series opener promises to be one of the
most memorable concerts in a notable list. The Sphinx
Chamber Orchestra is comprised of the top alumni of
the national Sphinx Competition for young Black and
Latino string players. Inspired by Sphinx’s overarching
mission, SCO advances diversity in classical music,
while engaging new, young audiences through creative
programming. Their Kilbourn Hall program features solo
appearances by recent Sphinx winners. |
