Fall Festivals

Eastman Guitarfest
New in 2007, this festival features great guitarists and great music. Eastman Guitarfest is presented in association with the International Guitar Institute, and runs from Sept. 28 to October 2 2007.

EROI Festival
This annual festival, begun in 2002, celebrates unique the Eastman Rochester Organ Initiative (EROI) and the “king of instruments” — bringing prominent organists, scholars, researchers, and organ builders to Rochester each year.

Spring Festivals

Music for All
This extensive music outreach program (begun in 1995) takes classical music from the concert hall into the community. Each year, more than 50 Eastman student chamber music groups present concerts for audiences of all ages throughout the Rochester area.

Women in Music Festival
New in 2005, this festival is a celebration of women involved in all aspects of music, including composition, performance, scholarship, and administration.

Community Music School Spring Festival
Each May, this festival features a week of nightly concerts, recitals, lectures, juries, and other fun events sponsored by the Eastman Community Music School.

Summer Festivals

Rochester International Jazz Festival
The Eastman School is a sponsor and a key venue for this international jazz festival, launched in 2002 and occurring every June, which is now one of the nation’s fastest growing, most successful music festivals.
