Eastman School of Music Alumni Challenge
The Eastman School of Music relies on the collective power of alumni gifts each year to make a difference for its students. There is strength in numbers and a community is only as strong as the people who support it. Thank you to all who made a lasting impact by participating in the first Eastman Alumni Challenge!
Congratulations to Music Theory for winning the challenge and receiving additional funds!
Here's How it Works
Make a gift of any amount to the Eastman Fund or the Eastman Scholarship Fund, and your gift will be counted in your studio or specialty. The group with the highest participation at the end of the year will receive additional funding to support their studio/department.
If you have multiple degrees, such as music education and performance, your participation will be counted toward both music education and your instrument studio. Remember, your participation is counted toward your degree area(s) but your gift is designated to the general Eastman funds and not your specific department or studio.
This challenge is based on the number of people who give. For example, the participation rate for percussion is determined by taking the number of percussion performance majors who contribute to the Eastman Fund divided by the total number of living percussion alumni.
